LOCAL PICK UP 

If you live locally and would like to collect the portrait from me in Norman Park in Brisbane, I am more than happy for you to do so. Please select local-pick up at check out and we can arrange a time for you to come and collect your new custom pet portrait.

If you've accidentally selected local pick-up and you do not live locally, fear not. I will create a separate invoice for you to pay for the appropriate shipping cost. 

HAND DRAWN PORTRAITS

How long does a hand-drawn portrait take?

Unless you have specified that you need the portrait by a specific date, hand-drawn portraits normally take between 1-3 weeks to complete. This timeline may differ during busy periods, but I will be in regular communication with you from the time you place your order. Please remember you are getting a custom designed original piece of art, and I want you to love the end result.

Please note that the 1-3 weeks timeline does not include shipping timelines so please be mindful of public and bank holidays. You will get a notification once your portrait has shipped and I will send you the tracking number as well.

What size options do I have when ordering a hand-drawn portrait?

You can select the size, colour scheme and the number of pets to be included in a hand-drawn portrait. The size and the number of pets are the two characteristics which determine the price. Please see the table below for details.

Please see the table above for details on pricing. The size of the portrait and number of pets are the two determining factors for the price.

PAINTED PORTRAITS

How long does a painted portrait take?

Unless you have specified that you need the portrait by a specific date, painted portraits normally take between 2-8 weeks to complete. If you need the portrait by a specific date, just let me know and I usually am able to accomodate quick turn arounds. But please remember you are getting a custom designed original piece of art, and I want you to love the end result.

GENERAL

How will I know when to expect my portrait?

I will let you know how long I think it will take to complete the portrait in my first email to you containing the rough sketches for you to choose from. I will also update you on the timeline when I send you a photo of the final version of the portrait and then again once I have actually shipped the portrait.

How do I send/upload photos of my pet?

Once you complete your order you will receive a confirmation email from me (sitprettypetportraits@gmail.com ). Please respond to this email by providing the information below. Don't worry I will provide a template, as these are the 3 pieces of information you will be to provide:

1. To upload 1-5 clear and naturally lit photos of your beloved pet. Please no screen shots if possible as this will impact resolution.
2. Date portrait required by if relevant - please keep in mind shipping times.
3. Name of pet(s) if you would like their name(s) printed on the portrait. You can choose to have the name printed in small font or included on a name tag.

How do I let you know if I need the portrait by a certain date?

Please let me know if you need the portrait by a specific date. You can do this by completing the template in your confirmation email.  See below for details.

Keep in mind that hand-drawn portraits usually take between 1-3 weeks and painted portraits usually take between 2-4 weeks to complete and these timelines do not include shipping.

For local pick ups I am much more able to provide quick turn around times (within a week) as shipping is not required.

For international orders, overseas postage usually takes between 2-3 weeks and that is for non-express shipping. That being said, I am not able to guarantee that timeline due to customs. 

Can I get a refund?

Due to the nature of the design process and the one-on-one communication throughout, you should feel comfortable providing me with feedback which will ensure that you are happy with the end result. Because of this involved process, I do not offer refunds. That being said, if for some reason I am unable to complete a portrait for you (this has never happened) I will of course offer you a complete refund as no work has been completed.
